Thoughts on Thanksgiving Day, and some sales

Thanksgiving week is here, and honestly, I’m kind of excited for the feast! We’re staying home, and since we don’t have family living close to us, it will be just hubby and me, and honestly, I’m not one bit sorry about it.
We usually cook, eat, take a long walk after, have some dessert when we come back, and watch a movie or two in the evening — that’s been our holiday tradition for years now, and it’s kind of precious to me.
As far as cooking, I will be making my usual dishes which include the turkey, of course, my absolute favorite potatoes (recipe shared on my Instagram Healthy Eating highlight towards the end), stuffed portobello mushrooms (creating my own recipe), roasted green beans, stuffing with dried shitake mushrooms (store-bought and I’m adding my own mushrooms - yup, big mushroom lover here), a spring mix salad, and of course, for dessert, I’m making my own caramel apple pie (caramel sauce inspired by this recipe) and serving a pumpkin cheesecake we bought from Trader Joe’s (which, apparently, sold out immediately in our area, at least).
I’m thankful for another year of my loved ones and me being healthy, for my hubby, and for all the big and small things that we often take for granted.

J.Crew Factory has several offers, including 50% off everything, plus 60% off clearance items through 11/30. I really love their stuff as they’re good quality - I’d recommend checking daily for the best price if you’ve got your eye on something.
J.Crew is currently offering 40% off your purchase, through 11/25. I would check back on Friday for most likely, even better deals unless what you’re eyeing is low in stock.
H&M offers up to 50% off select styles through 11/23; I’d also check back for more deals after today.
