Spring is the season of new beginnings, and I see an increased demand for spring dresses this time of year. No surprise there — dresses are the perfect way to add a pop of color and style to your wardrobe, and just change things up after months of wearing layers. With so many options, there’s a perfect dress for everyone. Here are some trends (and dresses) to consider this season:

Floral prints

It’s no surprise that floral prints are a spring staple — I find them irresistible. This season, bold floral patterns are big — give them a try for an eye-catching look. You can also pair a floral dress with a denim jacket (I love this classic white denim one) and these platform sneakers for a more casual vibe, or dress it up with strappy sandals and a clutch for a night out.

Pastel colors

Pastel colors are perfect for spring, and they’re an easy way to add a soft, feminine touch to any outfit. Think pale pinks, lilacs (of digital lavender), and blues to start with. If you’re not a fan of head-to-toe pastels, try pairing a pastel dress with neutral accessories like a beige purse or white sneakers (though I prefer espadrilles or raffia sandals).

Midi dresses

Midi dresses are a popular trend this spring and for good reason. They’re versatile, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down. Try a flowy midi dress with platform sandals for a boho vibe or pair a slip midi dress with heels for a more sophisticated look.

Ruffles

Ruffles are another popular trend this spring. From subtle details to full-on ruffle dresses, this trend adds a fun, flirty touch to any outfit. Keep it simple by pairing a ruffle dress with understated accessories or go bold with statement earrings and heels.
