One can’t help but notice the care that goes into everything the brand does — from handcrafting to packaging, which uses zero plastic, to fast shipping, and great customer service. Sarah offers a wide variety of shoes, and when browsing her styles, I decided to step away from my usual flats and espadrilles and opt for stylish block sandals. After all, I am all about comfort, and nothing beats a block heel when it comes to high-heeled shoes, in my opinion.
Choosing a color was equally difficult, but ultimately, I picked the versatile “sand calf”. Friends, meet the Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandal 60, a classic style that will entirely convert you once you start wearing them!
I purposely wore these sandals to several places — from stores to parks, etc., to test them and assess their comfort level. Considering that I haven’t worn heels in years (other than espadrille wedges), I had no trouble whatsoever walking in these sandals. The ample anatomical arch support in the insole is designed to reinforce the natural arch of the foot, making them comfortable for long wear, and just perfect for the woman on the go. Combined with the wider toe box that eases foot crowding, the additional 6mm of footbed padding, and the inset block heel placement that provides height and length without the heaviness of a traditional block heel, these shoes have everything a woman would need for all-day comfort.
While the upper is made with supple Italian calf leather, and they are true to size, personally, I did have to break them in to reach the comfort level the brand prides itself on. And if you’re wondering, I did that by initially wearing them around the house with lightweight socks to “mold” them to my foot’s shape. It was love at first step after!
