One dress, four outfits

I think it’s obvious from these pages that I love to re-wear my clothes — I just like them too much not to.

Maximizing one’s closet is important for various reasons, from sustainability to the “feel-good” state you get when wearing something that you love, and know works for you.

With spring and summer around the corner, and hopefully, with a pandemic left behind, our calendars start filling with events and fun things to do. And especially in recent years, I’ve gotten more determined to spend less time choosing my clothes, and more time enjoying whatever we have going on. Hence, it has become important to me to have a versatile closet, that is filled with pieces I love and that make me feel good whenever I wear them.

Needless to say that I found those things to be dresses; after all, it is pretty easy to change the look of a dress with different accessories to make it appropriate for whatever occasion. Plus, they make getting ready so easy!

With that said, I wanted to showcase 4 ways of wearing one dress, by switching the shoes and accessories, depending on what you dress up for.

I hope you enjoy these outfits. Check below for more options to swap and adjust the looks to your liking. Note that this dress also comes in white and black and has pockets, and while white is my first option, I went with pink to ensure that it can be worn as a wedding guest as well.

If you’re wondering what my favorite looks are, I will say that I surprised myself by liking the casual-chic and the out and about ones the most. Which one’s your favorite?
