Breezy summer dresses
my “uniform” for steamy-hot days: an easy breezy dress and comfortable shoes; dress is old, this one is somewhat similar.
From what I hear, the heat waves are taking over the country, and naturally, the question is how to survive them.
I firmly believe that there’s no better way to beat the heat than by wearing a dress (trust me, I know since I live in dresses!). Of course, not just any dress will do the job.
While I do make exceptions, I prioritize buying and wearing dresses made from natural fabrics. Linen, linen blends, and cotton are my go-tos, especially on hot and humid days. Though I specifically recommend wearing linen on the days when the humidity is high.
Cotton can still cling to the skin, while linen does not as much, thus making it a more comfortable choice. I stand by this — linen truly is the fabric for summer!
Additionally, I recommend choosing lighter colors over darker ones.
