Wear a jumpsuit this spring and summer!
My style is very much focused on dresses, but on the rare occasions when I get tired of wearing them, or, when wearing one doesn’t make a lot of sense, I switch to a jumpsuit (like when it’s really windy - as I’m writing this the wind is whipping).
It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of easy outfits, which is the reason why I am obsessed with dresses in the first place and have filled my closet with them. Well, for that same easy style, I turn to jumpsuits. They simply take out the guessing, sorting, and matching an outfit, and with so many styles out there, you’re bound to find a jumpsuit that is chic, feminine, comfortable… well, whatever it is that you’re looking for. They can be worn for every occasion: as a wedding guest, for date nights, out and about, fun days and activities, not to mention that they are perfect for travel since you get an entire outfit with just one piece - you can save a lot of room by packing jumpsuits for your adventures! Pair them with whatever shoes you like (I love wearing them with espadrilles); jumpsuits are so versatile, they can work with a lot of things.
Recently, we went to the beach for a day of exploring - we’re still familiarizing ourselves with our new area and we’re just not the kind of people to lounge on the beach. Because it was a windy day, I went for this striped jumpsuit that I’ve had for a couple of years. I bought it for our European adventures, for the reasons listed above, and, of course, because I fell for it as soon as I saw it (stripes! #enoughsaid). It’s actually a little big on me, but I like that about it. I like my jumpsuits a little roomy, for extra comfort and ease of movement (I don’t really like tight clothes, especially in Florida’s heat).
