Casual spring and summer pants

Summer will be here sooner than we think, and for us, it means that being outside will be just about impossible — guys, there’s no heat like the one in Florida in the summer, seriously! For that reason, we’ve been somewhat rushing to get to as many places as we possibly can these past months.

Many of these places have been in the “wilderness” as I call it, at least, to some degree. And even I, the die-hard dress lover can’t possibly wear one in some of these places. While I don’t wear nor own shorts, I wouldn’t wear them in some of them as I prefer to be more covered to protect myself from insects and such. Thankfully, the temperatures made wearing pants easy, and I’ve been pulling these linen ones out a lot lately. They’re so comfortable, lightweight, and breathable that I forget I’m wearing them most of the time.

If you’ve been following me and/or this blog for a while, you already know my love for linen — truly, it’s my favorite fabric, and I recommend it over and over for the warm seasons. Yes, linen wrinkles easily and it needs to be pressed/steamed to look its best, but I say it’s worth it for me.

I’m not a fan of sweatpants or joggers, and since I wear dresses most of the time, I don’t need or own a lot of pants, but I always make sure I have some linen ones for when the occasion calls for them.
