I’m forever torn between dreaming of a minimalistic décor and one sprinkled with lots of finds that I love, as well as a neutral space versus a more colorful one. In case you couldn’t tell, yes, I really like both decorating styles, though, for our home, color has won - I went for a navy/blue and white color scheme, with a pop of pinkish-red here and there. The good news is that I can always change some things to give our home a refresh any time I feel like it.

The easiest way to refresh home decor is by changing throw pillows, throw blankets, add/remove baskets, and any other small objects that can be replaced throughout the house as desired. Oh, and don’t ignore your coffee table - I change it up whenever I crave a variety in our home by switching vases, and other decorative objects like candles, candle holders, books, bowls/trinkets dishes, etc.

Also, decorating with rattan or wicker baskets is always a good idea for interiors, serving the double role of decor pieces as well as storage, thus helping with keeping a home organized.

For pops of color, I also like to add golden elements via candle holders, smaller trays, or trinket dishes so they don’t become overpowering yet stand out.

No matter the color scheme you choose for your home, you can never go wrong with adding earthy or natural tones like rattan/wicker, and wood, as well as a colorful object and gold element here and there as shared in the collage above and below - shop the above by clicking on the corresponding links, or, by clicking on the image you’re interested below.

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
