5 things that bring me joy this week, vol. 146
certainly, this bead necklace I made…
You can check out the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here. It’s a collection of seemingly insignificant things that remind us to appreciate the little things—those small joys that make a difference in our daily lives.
Whew, everything has been a lot lately, and yes, that’s behind my stepping away last week. I’ve been lacking inspiration lately, though I have several posts I started writing or putting together. My mind has been in overdrive, and so, I decided to give it a break wherever I can. I have been craving peace and quiet, and maybe even isolation? Staying in my world, basically.
I hope you’re taking care of yourselves, and take a step back when things become too much. Look for healthy distractions — hopefully, the list below gives you some inspiration…
With that said, here’s what’s bringing me joy this week:
continuing on with my newly re-discovered hobby, the result of which you see in the photo above. Yes, I made that necklace (among others), and I’m so in love with it (the colors make me think of the ocean — these are the beads I used)! This hobby has brought a welcome reprieve from the insanity, and I’m embracing it with open arms.
the daily afternoon storms. It’s not the first nor the last time that these will make the list, but I truly enjoy them, even if they can be scary at times.
not having to be anywhere on the weekends. It’s been so miserably hot that I’ve had very little desire to leave our home for anything. And that’s been really nice, as it gave us more time to focus on our hobbies.
this adorable ears hat! It popped up in an Instagram ad for me, and it immediately got my attention. I had to add it to my wishlist — it’s so cute, and yes, I know it’s… unique!
this beautiful trinket dish I couldn’t resist! Who doesn’t love a lily pond theme?
What’s bringing YOU joy this week?

Em
