Yes, I may be a little hair care obsessed, but I’m fine with that.

I have to admit that for most of my life, I didn’t pay attention to my hair. For that reason, split ends were never-ending, even appearing shortly after getting a haircut.

I can’t quite pinpoint when my love for hair care came into my life, but I know that it was inspired by black women, so thank you, ladies, for that. As a result, my hair looks and feels significantly better than it used to.

I have covered in many posts now (and on my Shop page) the hair care products I use constantly, and today, once again, I wanted to shine the light on one of them. It’s not a new product, and depending on my hair needs, it’s not one I use every day, but it is a MUST-HAVE for me and one I need to have in my bathroom at any given time.

I’m talking about the Hask Argan Oil Repairing Shine Hair Oil. Since I’ve learned about hair oils years ago, I have tried several of them from different brands, but none of them stayed with me. Most of those oils have left my fine hair greasy no matter the amount used, left it flat, which is another thing I don’t like, or simply haven’t lived up to their label promise.

This Hask hair oil though has over and over done an excellent job at detangling, preventing breakage and split ends, and providing healthy shine, while maintaining my hair’s body without weighing it down. Also, I find its delicate citrus smell very pleasant and natural.

While this oil can be used on wet and dry hair, I use it only after I wash it by pushing 4-5 pumps in my palm (depending on how dry my hair feels), and working it through my hair, focusing more on the ends, rather than roots. Once my hair dries, it feels healthy, silky, and smooth. The fact that this hair product is well under $10 and that a little goes a long way makes me love it even more, and I highly recommend adding it to your hair care routine.

Have you ever tried this hair oil?

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
