Blue and white pieces for the home

This year, especially as we’ve spent so much time at home, the focus has been on making our homes as comfy as possible, and a pleasant environment overall. More people have made room for houseplants as a way to bring nature inside during an inarguably difficult year when small things like that made big differences.

Decor also plays a big factor in how we feel in our home, especially when it incorporates elements that we love, and judging by the limited or sold-out stock for some of these items, people have definitely done some decorating this past year.

When it comes to interior decorating, I lean towards bright and airy with pops of color here and there. For that reason, when we were shopping for furniture last summer, I looked for a white sofa, without any luck. So, instead, I went for my second option, which, of course, was blue, while looking for blue and white pieces to bring in as decor.

My love for blue and white runs deep (it was love at first sight), and I have a hard time saying no to this color combination or pieces that feature it. Be it a chinoiserie print, or a simple stripe, I find them irresistible, and it goes without saying that these are the predominant colors in our home and wardrobe (yup, I even pick these colors for my husband’s clothes).

I like that a blue and white print brings elegant and fresh elements to any home, goes well with any style, and can be mixed and matched easily.
