Check the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here, a collection of seemingly insignificant things that serve as a reminder to appreciate the little things — those small joys that make a difference in our day-to-day.

This past weekend didn’t quite go as planned, so I’m eagerly waiting for a re-do for this next one, haha. It’s been otherwise a quiet week over here. We found a new show to watch that we’ve been loving and can’t wait to share in my upcoming month-at-a-glance blog post coming this Friday.

Until then, here are 5 things that are bringing me joy this week:

  • this rebalancing shampoo. I love using this refreshing shampoo in the summer, but I can’t use it during cold weather (it’s cooling and that’s just too much for me then). Since the clarifying charcoal shampoo by the same brand has been discontinued (I loved that stuff!), I’ve been looking for a replacement. I decided to try this one and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it so far. I will continue to use it for as long as it works for me — the way my hair looks and feels after I use it brings me joy.

  • cleaning all my makeup brushes and sponges. It’s the little things… Side note: I really love this makeup brush and sponge set — I’ve had it for many years, washed and used constantly and the brushes are still intact (I did have to replace the sponge).

  • this bag. I think it deserves its own spot on the blog, aka, its own blog post, but it truly brings me joy. And guess what? It’s on a limited-time deal as I’m writing this!

  • this spring weather we’re having. Yes, I’m talking about the weather again... We’re finally having the nicest time in Florida, weather-wise, and it brings endless joy! We know it won’t last long, so we’re soaking it up...

  • birds chirping and trilling all day long. You know it’s spring when the birds are trilling outside your window — it’s just different this time of the year. I don’t know about anyone else, but this brings me a lot of joy.

What’s bringing YOU joy this week?

xo,

Em
