I have a weakness for croc-effect or croc-embossed anything: shoes, bags, belts, etc. And I love the color red just as much as I love my blue, even if I don’t wear it as often.
When Sarah Flint came out with my very favorite Natalie in a ballerina-style shoe, I had to add them to my collection. I mean, they’re pretty irresistible, right? That asymmetrical bow gets me every time…
I generally like to wear shoes with some sort of heel (preferably not too high), because I live in dresses, however, since many of my dresses are long or maxis, I can get away with wearing flat shoes.
So after going back and forth like I always do when it comes to choosing Sarah Flint shoes, I ended up on these flats. I have enough red in my closet to make them work, and for the season ahead, I thought these would be perfect. Note that if red is not your color, they also come in toffee, aka brown, which I strongly considered, and black among other options.
One thing you need to know about me when it comes to shoes is that I don’t like them to be boring, as in, I need them to have some details that set them apart. The adorable asymmetrical bow on these Natalie ballerina flats and the embossed leather add more than enough fun while keeping them elegant and feminine.

These ballet flats are versatile and perfect to wear to work as well as outside of it. They can literally be worn with anything from jeans, to trousers, shorts, dresses, skirts, etc, for casual as well as more formal looks. They are the definition of chic!
Sizing
I ordered my usual size in them. I think I have average feet — not too wide or narrow and they fit me perfectly. The brand extensively tests their shoes to ensure they are comfortable, and always come with sizing recommendations — I strongly advise checking the Fit Notes before purchasing.
In my case, these ballerina flats required breaking in, and I did that by wearing them around our home with thicker socks on. You’ll find that once these shoes mold to your feet, you’ll be exploring all day in them without an issue. They will definitely be my travel shoes.
NOTE: If your feet swell throughout the day, I recommend sizing up in these.
