Jewelry I'm loving

Like any other woman, I’m obsessed with jewelry, but I normally don’t want to spend a lot of money on it; it just doesn’t make sense to me (I’d rather spend big money on experiences, like travel). I shared some new jewelry additions that I love here but I have always had a love for vintage or vintage-looking jewelry.

Throughout the years, I either bought or was passed down pieces that are now lovingly worn every occasion I get. I’ve mentioned this several times, but the very least jewelry I would wear when leaving the house is earrings, my engagement + wedding rings, and generally another fun ring.

When we chose our wedding bands, we went for ones that have both platinum and gold in them, so I can easily wear jewelry that would match, as I try to stay away from mixing silver with gold (aka, wear silver earrings and a gold necklace) unless the piece is a mix of both.

For buying jewelry, especially vintage, my go-to places are eBay, Etsy, and even thrift stores, as you can always find unique and reasonably priced pieces there. Here are some of the pieces that I’m loving lately.

This vintage cloisonne pendant is something I received a few years ago but stacked away, I forgot about it until recently (moving + purging does things like that); similar ones I really like are here, here, here, and here.

I mentioned on my blog that I’m not a fan of insects or even some animals, but for some reason, I really liked this spider brooch, which is a perfect piece for Halloween and beyond. Even though different, I found I like this one and this similar one too as some unique pieces.

Christmas is behind us, but the good news is that it comes every year. I like adding a holiday touch to my outfit with a brooch. This Christmas tree brooch is vintage by Avon and so cute and perfect for the holiday season; I found the exact one here, here and here.

I have spoken less about my love for rings, but it’s just as big as the love I have for earrings. Rings are fun and can make quite the statement in your overall look. The green cocktail ring in the photos above is a stunner; some similar ones are here, here and this beauty here. Some similar red rings I love are here, here, and here.

I couldn’t leave out sharing some fun earrings, of course. Because I change them often, depending on my mood or outfit, I have a variety of them. Some of them even go with my love for the beach and ocean. Starfish earrings are gorgeous in my opinion; shop mine here (they’re big but not heavy) and similar here. I also have these and these, all bought on eBay.

Do you like vintage and fun jewelry, or are you more of a fine jewelry person? Share with me below.

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
