#thingstodo: exploring San Diego

There is no doubt about it, San Diego is a city meant for spending time outside. The weather, the scenery, the locations - all aid in leading an outdoorsy lifestyle.

Apart from the typical city scene, there are many outdoor "wild" areas in San Diego where one can leisurely walk, hike, bike, or even run. All these areas are spread across the city and they each come with different "features" and landscapes.

While living in San Diego, we tried exploring as much as we could of this beautiful city. There are areas that we didn't manage to visit, either due to not so great locations or the lack of parking (hubby has zero patience when it comes to traffic and looking for parking), but I think we did well covering the major places to know about. I have covered them here, here, here, here, and even ventured outside the city but still in the county of San Diego here, here, here and here.

Our last finding in San Diego was the park at the Liberty Station from where you can get views of the city including the downtown. We were still able to find it blooming after the rainy winter we've had. We took some photos of the landscape at first, but shortly after, abandoned the camera in favor of watching the San Diego squirrels chasing after each other, the dogs going after them, and just enjoying the sun and our last few days there.
