Spring-ready Old Navy finds

Spring-ready Old Navy finds | Blooming Magnolias Blog | Fashion, style, spring look, spring outfit, spring tops, spring dresses

We can all agree that spring is about renewal and hope, and it just puts us in a better mood (that is as long as we ignore the daylight savings - that makes most of us grumpy for about a week). Speaking of, daylight savings happens this weekend as we spring forward our clocks and enjoy that extra hour of sunlight… though, frankly, I find this practice totally archaic and useless, especially as it’s proven to mess with our bodies and mind. But that’s another story… And unlike my feelings I shared in this post about our one year of pandemic, I do have hope now.

Not that it’s much different the rest of the year, but in spring especially, I look forward to and reach for floral prints, as well as bright, and colorful patterns when it comes to my clothes. This is also the time when I begin retiring my jeans and pants as the heat and humidity goes up here in Florida, and start wearing dresses pretty much 24/7. Though on those rare occasions of cooler days, jeans and a cute top remain my go-to spring outfit (as seen in the photo above), as it’s still one of the easiest looks that get me out the door fast and looking put-together - you guys know that I’m all about easy style!

Now as I was looking at Old Navy, one of my go-to retailers for cute and affordable clothes, I was not disappointed with the selection, so I wanted to share my favorites in a blog post. Some of my go-to blouses are from Old Navy, and what I love about them is how soft, yet not clingy the fabrics are, and how they maintain their colors wash after wash (the top I’m wearing in this post is at least 5 years old and has been washed more than I can remember, and still looks like-new).

The same goes with their dresses and boy, have I fallen for a few shown below. They are very similar to the now-famous nap dress (I adore this one, but, let’s be honest, is not cheap), and so, are a great substitute for someone who likes the style, but not the price.

Which item is your favorite?

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
