My go-to drugstore makeup products

I don't enjoy putting on makeup; I'd rather sleep more than having to get up earlier to put "my face on".

So why am I not skipping this step, you might ask? Well, because like most women, I try to hide dark under-eye circles, a pimple here and there, keep my oily skin under control, and whatever else is going on.

I like my makeup light and natural-looking, easy and relatively quick to apply. I have my tried-and-true products that I must always have and I use them every day to make my life easier. Oh, and did I mention that I don't like spending a lot of money on makeup, so all these but two, are "drugstore" products and so, very affordable.

To prep my skin, I start with Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting UV cream Moisturizer with SPF 30, followed by Elf Mineral Infusion Face Primer. If my skin has any dryness or feels dryer than usual, I use Covergirl + Olay Advanced Radiance, which gives me a nice glow, without drying the skin. When my skin feels well-hydrated, I use the Revlon Colorstay 2-1 Compact Makeup - I like the coverage and the matte finish, however, it shows any dry spots so I stay clear if my skin is not at "its best".

After foundation, I apply the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer, which I've been using for years now. When I want something extra (or have time for extra, to be more exact), I finish with this bareMinerals Sheer Brilliance duo that I absolutely love. These are the only products that aren't drugstore bought, however, this duo is only $10 so do yourself a favor and buy it.

Once my face is "ready", I add a bit of color and definition to my eyebrows. I'm a fan of natural eyebrows (it drives me crazy when I see women literally "draw" their eyebrows with pencils - it makes them look so "harsh"), so I absolutely love this Covergirl Easy Breezy Brow Shape and Define. I make sure to remove excess product, apply lightly and done.

Now, if there's one product I can't live without nor do I leave the house without, is mascara. And I expect a lot from my mascara. I actually apply at least two different mascaras on my eyelashes on any given day.

I can't stand spidery or clumpy lashes so I found that using two gives me the best results. I'm currently using the Revlon All-In-one mascara along with NYC City Curls Mascara.

I don't wear lipstick for work much, but you bet I'll have it on for the weekends. I love these Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain and the Max Factor lipsticks (remember these?).

These are my everyday makeup products. Have you tried any of these? What are your go-to everyday makeup products?
