My favorite products I use regularly, all under $30

Like most people, I have products that I have used for years, that at some point, became staples in my life. They have proved themselves to me as being efficient at solving whatever “issue” I may be having, or simply put, made my life easier. The fact that these products are also affordable, only made me love them more, and I wanted to share them in one post to make them easy to find, in case you’re also looking for great products at great prices. So here they are…

  • Anthony’s Organic Instant Coffee. I was saying the other day on my Instagram (as well as here) that I gave up K-Cups and coffee pods a few years ago as I find them wasteful, and since then, I’ve switched to French Press coffee. Since that is not always the fastest way to make it (and frankly, I hate cleaning the French press after), I also started using instant coffee - a teaspoon of powder (or more, haha), hot water, a splash of coconut milk (my choice milk for coffee), and I’m done - mess-free, and quick for any time of day. This organic instant coffee is the best I have found as far as the price/quantity ratio, as well as taste. No wonder so many people love it!

  • Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturizer. Yes, I use multiple products in my skincare routine, but when I’m too tired or in a rush (or just too lazy) and/or not in the mood to follow all my steps (and yet I still want results), I simply apply this cream (+ SPF during the day). Personally, I’ve found it to really work, as it almost instantly makes my skin look better. There are many skincare products today that I (and most) may be more excited about, but this cream is a staple for me, and I plan on continuing using it for a looong time still.

  • Unwined by Hask Gloss Boss White Wine Shampoo and conditioner have been my favorites to use for a while now. These products leave my hair bouncy, healthy, and smooth. I don’t use the conditioner every time I wash my hair, and I still love the results I get from the shampoo alone. A must-have for me.

  • Hask Repairing Shine Argan Hair Oil. I’ve lauded this hair oil quite a few times on this blog, and I still stand by it years after I first tried it. When I find a product that works for me, price and quality-wise, I don’t see any reason to quit, and for the under $10 price point, call me a fan. I have fine, oily hair, yet this product does not weigh it, and it leaves my hair shiny and smooth. I swear it also stopped the split-ends that I used to get constantly a few years back, no matter what I did. For these reasons, this product is truly a “holy grail” for me.

  • Traceless hair ties/rings. I wear my hair down, always, and that’s because I don’t usually have the patience nor desire to do anything else with it (though I do sleep on a silk pillowcase which helps with its health and look). However, when I’m cleaning my face (or my home), I simply cannot stand having it in my face, at which point I tie it. I’ve used these hair ties for years now - they last and they work, and that’s all I’m asking for. Plus, they don’t break my hair like regular ties do, and they don’t leave traces. I’m sold!

  • Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Liquid Soap Unscented. Since moving to Florida, my skin hasn’t been very happy for whatever reason, and once in a while, I develop psoriasis-like dry, itchy patches that I’ve noticed were getting worse with the use of a certain previously favorite body wash I’ve been using for years. Upon research, I switched to the Unscented Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Liquid Soap, and I’m happy to report that it’s helped my skin immensely, hence this is now a product that I can’t go without.

  • Gold Bond Ultimate Multi-Symptom Psoriasis Relief Cream. During the times when I experience[d] the aforementioned skin irritations, I have applied this cream topically, and I have to say that it’s worked wonders for me. So I’m keeping this cream on hand as well for whenever needed.

  • Palmers Coconut Oil Body Lotion. As with body wash, I had to review and limit the lotions I was using, and I have found that this one doesn’t irritate my skin, even though it’s not unscented, and it hydrates and absorbs relatively fast. Plus, it does not contain parabens, phthalates, gluten, mineral oil, sulfates, and dyes, and it’s made of ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients, again, for a great price. What’s not to love?

Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite and must-have products?

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
