J.Crew Holiday Style

Like it or not, the holiday craze is here. Honestly, I don’t mind it one bit this year, even if I am totally unprepared, and without any strategic plan so far. I’m trying to get myself together and get prepped as I want to be able to enjoy the holidays this year! And the prepping starts with the fashion, of course!

I’ve been working on this post for some time and I realize that I’ve been humming and playing Christmas songs in my head (specifically this one), so you can say that it’s getting me in the mood. It’s not lost on me that today is Election Day, and I am so very tired of feeling out of my mind anxious with this specific occasion, increasingly so in recent years, so I’m keeping busy. We voted early so today, I choose to think of happy things, aka, the holidays!

I used to be totally against any Christmas talk before Thanksgiving, but the pandemic changed everything. I’m now team “do whatever makes you happy as long as you don’t hurt, or impose onto someone else”. So, if Christmas decor in November is what makes you happy, by all means, set it up whenever you please. But back to the fashion…

Per usual, the holiday styles alone can put anyone in a good mood — I was just browsing when I found all these adorable items at J.Crew and J.Crew Factory (offering great deals, including saving $10 with every $50 spent that is valid through November 9th).

Out of those finds, I especially adore this velvet bow top, and these shoes, though I’ve been thinking about these shoes ever since last year when I missed the almost identical version! Oh, and pretty much swooning over all the velvet pieces — velvet has such a luxe feel and look and is just perfect for the holidays!
