Gorgeous jewelry pieces from Black-owned businesses

Gorgeous jewelry pieces from Black-owned businesses | Blooming Magnolias Blog | Fashion, black-female-owned business, black owned jewelry

My earrings are old, bought from eBay years ago, but I love these, these, and these.

Like any other woman, I love jewelry, and I have an especially soft spot for earrings, proof being this post I shared not too long ago (scroll down for picks from small-businesses), showcasing a variety of them for every occasion. Today I wanted to highlight jewelry from a few Black-owned businesses that I was very impressed with, be it because of the pieces themselves and/or the stories behind them and the companies. I hope this post helps you find something new while supporting the Black communities.

So without further ado, here they are:

  • STELLA & HAAS - a Black-female-owned jewelry business, whose founder, Jenni, believes that “jewelry is something that fits everyone, no matter the stage of life”, and I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

This Circle Initial Necklace is beautiful, and so is the Initial Necklace Rosegold. As I was browsing the earrings on the site, I really liked the Flora hoop, the Brit, the Gigi, and the Pearl hoop earrings. Of course, there are many more options, and you can check them out here, or browse the site yourself for the jewelry that speaks to you.

  • YAM - handmade jewelry in Astoria New York, Yam is a jewelry business created as an ode to the founder’s late mother, upcycled materials, and new nostalgia.

To no surprise, I loved the Daisy Ring and the Danielle. Check the site for many other beautiful pieces. If an item is out of stock, the site says that it will be back, so please be patient.

  • OMA THE LABELcreates pieces for the woman that is intentional about the choices she makes and wants to wear pieces that make her feel empowered and confident”.

Their jewelry is truly stunning, and I’ve already added the Ameze hoops, the Ewere, the Chonu, and the Oslo hoops to my wishlist. They also have some gorgeous bodysuits, so make sure you explore their site and the options offered.

  • SERENDIPITOUS PROJECT - “created to provide an affordable and sustainable alternative for trendy jewelry. Every item Serendipitous Project designs are ethically sourced and made with love. Each seasonal collection, one item is selected where a percent of the proceeds go to a charity/organization that aligns with their mission - find out more here.

These Baroque Hoops are unique and make a statement. The Hillary earrings are darling, and the Charlotte is another gorgeous pair of statement-making earrings. Make sure you browse the site for some unique vintage items, like this lion coin chain belt.

  • MAHNALis a collection of contemporary brass jewelry that studies natural forms and elements to inspire contemplation. The artisanal nature of this jewelry is an embrace of living a slower, more intentional lifestyle”. They offer unique jewelry made by hand in Louis, MO.

The Akirah Earrings are quite a hypnotizing beauty, the Grande Crater is an everyday delicate, yet impactful ring, and you can make the Maraya Ring truly your own by personalizing it.

I truly hope you decide to support these businesses, and if you’re not currently shopping, add them to your future list.

Thank you Anna for sharing these businesses with me.

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
