I've always loved to read. In fact, when I was a child, I remember spending my summers absorbed in a book. I remember my friends being out playing while I was happily living through the characters of the books I was reading. I was reading from historical novels, love stories, thrillers, adventure books - you name it. Over the years, this activity remained one of my favorites and I'm still just as happy spending my time with a good book. I often see people asking online for book recommendations and I thought of sharing some of my recent reads here, as well as some of the classics that stayed with me throughout the years. No matter the genre you like, there's something on this list for you.
Another birthday is fast-approaching and with each passing year, I understand more and more the things that truly matter in my life. The last two years I finally figured out that happiness and freedom to do what I want are what matter the most to me. Not a career or a job and not the material things. Happiness to me means both me and hubby being healthy, knowing that the people I care about are well, travelling and doing work that fulfills me.
I have been paying more and more attention to how I feel "on the inside" and ever since I've been working on changing my inner and outer world. Here's some of the things I've changed/implemented:
Hello, hello - it's the most awaited day of the week again - TGIF! I don't have to say that I'm so very happy it's Friday, right? We know that's always the case. I hope your working week went well and I hope you have an exciting weekend ahead.
Today I decided to share another "playlist" that I love to listen to while working. I basically grew up with this artist's music. My brother was obsessed with it and had it playing for days, and you know what usually happens when you're around something too much - you begin to love it. Years later and I'm listening to his songs and albums still, while remembering "the old days".
If you watched "The Bourne Identity" and "Jason Bourne" with Matt Damon, then you've definitely heard at least one of his songs.
Moby is more popular overseas I think, but he deserves to be known and listened to everywhere. I love how easy he mixes different genres, creating soothing or "soul-tearing" music. Give it a listen below and let me know what you think.
