Hi there. I have been really busy lately, hence my absence here. Not to mention that the last days I've also been really tired, especially due to Comic-Con International 2016, but about that, in a different post.
Since the weekend is upon us, again (TGIF, am I right?), here's another idea for your pool / backyard party, or picnic, or well, no occasion. And it involves artichokes.
I love artichokes! In every form. And I love hummus.
Do I have your attention yet? Keep on reading!
I have mentioned in a previous post that I don't quite follow recipes. So, naturally, I came up with my own recipe for hummus. It's really good and let me tell you this hummus does not get to sit around long.
Here's what I used for ingredients:
1 15 oz can Great Northern Beans
1 15.05 oz can Garbanzo beans (chick peas)
1 12.35 oz can roasted artichokes
juice of one lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
dash of cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, sliced
2 tsp Tajin Low Sodium Classic Seasoning (I love this stuff).
No, there aren't fingers in there, it's just my reflections when taking the picture □
Transfer to a plate of choice and serve with favorite veggies or chips.
