Is there an American holiday where deviled eggs aren't a staple? I don't think so. If you do though, let me know which one it is.
On holidays, I like to prepare some foods that we don't eat everyday, and deviled eggs is one of the favorite, they're easy and tasty.
Even though I learned to make deviled eggs not too long ago, I never follow recipes. I like to modify them, adding "my own", especially when I don't have the exact ingredients they call for.
All that being said, these are the ingredients I used to make the deviled eggs pictured:
Isn't it funny how the times you're out of ideas for what to make for lunch, you come up with great recipes, out of the blue, with simple ingredients you have on hand? And it turns out better than the times you had clear images on what you want but was disappointed?
So this salad came to be and it was so yummy, I added it to my "make it again" list.

There comes that lunch or dinner time when I want to eat my veggies in a tasty, fun way. The boring cooked quinoa didn't please me so I thought of mixing it in my salad. Yes, I know there's nothing innovative about it, but I thought I'd share this recipe with you, for the times when you're looking for a nutritious easy meal.
I made this salad in minutes and it nicely accompanied some pork chops we cooked up (not pictured).
