Spring is officially here but most of us are still experiencing winter remnants. Mornings are cold, mid-days get warm, with cooler temps returning in the evening, not to mention the showers or full rainy days. An easy way to keep up with these changes is layering and my favorite way of doing so is reaching for my trench coat.
I think a trench coat should be a staple in any woman's closet not just for the fall season, but also for spring. I've found that it instantly elevates any look.
No matter if one goes for the classic fit or a modern style, it remains a timeless piece in any wardrobe. While it comes in different lengths, I recommend going for a knee-long version, at least - that way it will add a touch of elegance when wearing it with dresses or skirts and a touch of chic when wearing it with pants and even jeans.

Just about every woman loves a good trench coat and with so many styles and colors, it's easy to find one that suits you best. While deciding on one, I recommend investing in quality so you have it for many years to come.
I found mine at T.J.Maxx when I wasn't even looking for one (isn't that how T.J.Maxx works?) but I'm so happy I did. I've been wanting a trench coat since forever but didn't find the need for one living in Southern California. Until this winter when I changed my mind. It was mostly too warm to wear my down winter coat I brought with me from New York, and too cold for a cardigan only.
When I finally found this one, I immediately liked the white trim, adding a bit of modern to it while the fit and style remain classic. Unfortunately, it is not available online but I found several ones I love here, here, here, here and this polka-dot one.
Is this must-have already part of your closet?
Until next time.
