Jumpsuits have been around for quite a while now, but I have never tried one on, until this one, not to mention, own one. But with so many, absolutely adorable options, I decided to get on the bandwagon. And I did.
I'm already a huge fan of maxi dresses, and technically, a jumpsuit is like a maxi dress in itself, without the option of having it blown in your face, or all over, at the sign of a breeze (yes, it has happened ?). Not to forget the part, where you literally have to jump in it, in order to put it on ?.
OK, but let's be serious, jumpsuits are comfortable and look very chic.
And I was lucky enough to find this one at Marshalls (anyone else obsessed with this store and its "sisters"?)
As I was saying, I found it and, initially, I was wary of trying it on (I thought it to be too sexy... ?), but because I liked that it was in a blush color, and had flowers on it (duh!), I found the courage to put it on. And, the rest is history. But, as part of this history, I want to mention that hubby's jaw dropped when he saw me in it, and that's a good sign, right? A sign that I had to buy it! And that the trip to Marshalls was a success.
We had this crazy heat wave, so it was the perfect occasion to put it on. We thought of going out, got to the place we wanted to go, to find it closed (that's what we get for trying to "wing" things). Well, at least I got to wear my perfect jumpsuit.
I was telling my hubby, that because of the fit, it makes me look bigger, but he said that it's only accentuating my curves - how sweet is he?
The brand is Sienna Sky but I was not able to find it anywhere online - hopefully you have some luck at your local Marshalls/T.J. Maxx.
I did however find a few similar options here and how cute is this one, or even this one?
Sandals and hat are both from Forever 21, and you can find them here and here - you'll love their prices.
And yes, I'm guilty of buying a pair of shoes and obsessing over them for a while, aka, wearing them over and over.
Are you a fan of jumpsuits?
Thanks for reading! Have a great week!
