In spite of the official fall season, it's still warm in SoCal, so I can't think of wearing jeans during the day (I explained why in this post). So yes, my go-to outfit, on pretty much any given day is a dress. But not all dresses are made the same. Sometimes, I want to wear a dress that covers everything up without being or feeling constricting - you know, something I can throw on and run, if I need to. Shirt dresses are perfect for that.
I also talked about how I find and where I shop for affordable clothing here. It was in one of those stores once again that I found this shirt dress I'm wearing here, for which I have received many compliments. I have worn it so many time already, just because it's that comfortable.

This dress was on clearance and I bought it at H&M. The first thing that made me notice it was the blue and white pattern, which you know is my favorite. The size left was a 6; I normally wear a size 4, but because of the tie belt at the waist, it really doesn't look bad I think. - you be the judge. Like I said, this dress has been my go-to lately for outings with friends, running errands and whatever else. Since I was not able to find it online, I linked some similar options perfect for fall here, here, and here.
I have also been constantly wearing these espadrilles (only color left is yellow) lately, as well as my cateye sunglasses.
If yellow espadrilles aren't your style, I found some similar ones here, here, and here.
I have had this bucket bag tucked away for years and now that it's so on trend, I remembered I have it. There are no brand details on it so I, instead linked a bucket bag here and here.
The reason I share these outfit details with you here, is because I want to show you that you can create your own style on a budget. There are always sales going on either at any given store, so, if you don't want to spend a lot of money, hit those up and make the right choices.
What are your go-to stores for smart shopping?
Until next time.
