I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving day, surrounded by laughter, good food and your loved ones.
Our holiday was peaceful, with me and hubby (our family lives in a different state so we couldn't join them). We decided to skip the turkey this year (had swordfish instead) and it just made it so much easier.
I still roasted veggies, made mashed sweet potatoes and a berry pie for dessert. I thought we were going to miss the turkey but we didn't. I actually had time to enjoy the day (it was a hot one) without stressing.
Yes, we can finally wear sweaters in So Cal without any risk of "melting". It's all I've been pretty much wearing lately and it actually made it easier for dressing when heading out. Hubby has been pretty happy with me not changing about two outfits on average, before finding "the one". Yup, am guilty of that!
Anyway, before I get into the details about my outfit, can we give a shout-out to the beautiful bougainvillea blooming tirelessly behind me? Gotta love it!
